A-STEP Video for Dirzo Labs at Stanford University (2024)

Overview A-STEP (Ambassadors for STEM Training to Enhance Participation) videos are a series of educational resources funded by the National Science Foundation and produced for Dirzo Labs at Stanford University, aimed at enhancing science education through high-quality, accessible content.

Challenges The challenge was to distill complex scientific concepts into engaging, understandable content for a diverse audience of educators and students, ensuring the videos were both informative and captivating.

Solutions Working closely with Stanford faculty, StoryPunk shot and produced a series of videos featuring expert lectures, classroom demonstrations, and panel discussions. The content was carefully scripted to ensure clarity and engagement, utilizing high-quality visuals and guided classroom activities to illustrate complex ideas.

Results The video series has been widely shared as part of the A-STEP program, providing critical resources for STEM educators to engage students.
